Embroidered Travel Tin Summer School 4th January 2026

Why not take a day out of the heat and come to the Forage Summer School for a day of stitching in the air-conditioned comfort of our Belrose studio in Sydney!

This workshop runs from 10am-3pm on Sunday 4th January 2026 and includes morning/afternoon tea and lunch.

Once you've completed the project you'll have a travel sewing kit which includes needle keeper, pin cushion, scissors and thread reels.  Everything fits into the tiny 10cm x 6cm tin. Designed by Lara with simple embroidery stitches, there's an embroidered tin lid, needle keeper and tiny pin cushion to make.

You'll receive: A printed pattern, Liberty fabric, hand-dyed wool, embroidery linen, embroidery thread, needles, scissors, tiny thread spool (holds about a metre of perle 8), beads, buttons, English paper piecing hexi papers, string and extra stranded embroidery thread if desired.

The workshop includes the kit and any extra things you'll need like glue and stuffing for the pincushion.

*The colour of the Liberty fabric and felted wool will be different from the photos below depending on availability and there will be some choices on the day.

You will need the kit, which is included in the price, to do this workshop. If you have already bought the kit there is an option to buy the workshop alone.
