Essayons is a French word which translates to “let us try” - the motto of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. 

There is also a fort and rising sun depicted. 

This set of 24 pieces was found in its original packaging. 

They have a shank attachment. 

They each measure 2.5cm (1inch).
