Windmill Flowers Cushion Kit

The Windmill Flowers Cushion is completely hand stitched and comprises a slowstitched floral panel made from lovely antique and vintage fabrics and Liberty tana lawn. The body of the cushion is made from a single piece of feedsack linen which has a black and ochre stripe. The preparation and construction is done in the typical Forage way: simplicity is the key and the beautiful fabrics are the hero. All edges are raw and 4 different stitches are used.  This would be a great project for those new to slowstitching as well as more experienced stitchers.

The cushion insert we have used is 30cm x 50cm and filled with feathers.

Pattern, Piece of Feedsack Linen (Woven in Irleand from French flax), 5 Large shell buttons, 12 Small shell buttons, 4 Spools of Wonderfil Perle 8 thread, 10 Liberty Tana Lawn swatches, Vintage linen background pack, Calico backing.
